During this experience you become a role model, leader and friend to a very special child. We will have one-on-one interaction between buddy and player. Players look forward to seeing their Buddy each week. Therefore, if you commit to this program you must plan to be at the majority of sessions or arrange for a substitute Buddy when you are not available. Each session will run approximately 1 1/2 hours. The GOAL of this official United States Youth Soccer program is to enrich the lives of children with mental and/or physical disabilities through the game of soccer. This program is designed for the kids to work on coordination, flexibility, and object recognition in a fun and energetic atmosphere. We hope the players gain a sense of accomplishment in learning something new and expanding upon their abilities. With your help this program will be a great success! LDSA shares these goals and puts them in motion on our fields. This is an opportunity for you to “give back” to the community. Opportunities we hope you continue to take advantage of throughout your life. Soccer is one way to touch lives for a lifetime. You will receive more than you give if you decide to be a BUDDY. If you have an interest, questions or are ready to volunteer…. Please… email LDSATOPSOCCER @aol.com
