Our U17 LDC Elite girls team won the State Cup Championship for
2012 with a 2-0 defeat of TS United at Chester Park fields in
Wallingford, PA on Sunday, June 17th.  With this championship the
team qualifies to play in the US Youth Soccer Region I
Championships to be played in Lancaster, June 28th through July
3rd.  More than 5,000 players are expected to compete at the
Region I Championships in Lancaster this summer with an
additional 10,000 soccer enthusiasts in attendance.  This team is
coached by Mike McHugh.

This is the third State Cup Championship for LDC since 2006 and
second for the girls side.  Last year our U13 Boys captured the first
State Cup Championship on the boys side.  This year's U14 team
lost in the finals in overtime.  Our U9 Girls team also made it to the
finals this year losing 2-0.
