Lower Dauphin Soccer is offering a Spring Recreation Program for ages 6 thru 17 this spring 2010.  This program will be run in conjunction with the recreation program at CASA (Capital Area Soccer Association).  LDSA will register thru our own on-line registration system; we will put our teams together with our own coaches.  Much like the fall program (where we play teams from Olmstead and Swatara) we will then play games against teams from CASA.  This arrangement will give LD teams the opportunity to play some games at the CASA fields as well as their teams coming to Keller.  Season begins April 10.  Boys play Saturdays and Girls play Sundays.  10 week program (no games on Memorial Day weekend).

There are 2 programs being offered:

INTRAMURAL LEAGUE
(Ages 6 - 11)
Program Fee $65

LDSA combines with the Capital Area Soccer Association (CASA) to create a spring Intramural League. This league provides inter-club playing opportunities for ages 6 through 11.  The small sided soccer allows players to develop good soccer skills.  The emphasis is on fair play, developing good soccer fundamentals and developing pride in the team and the association.

INTRAMURAL- CHLD LEAGUE
(Grades 7-11)
Program Fee $85

The CHLD league allows players U13 and above to continue to play intramural soccer. This program is conducted in cooperation with CASA, Hershey, and LDSA. The program is designed as an alternative to the travel programs for players who are involved in other activities and do not have the time or desire to play travel soccer.

The league is divided into 4 divisions:
Girls Junior division- grades 7 & 8 (U13/U14)
Boys Junior division- grades 7 & 8 (U13/U14)
Girls Senior division- grades 9, 10&11 (U15/U16/U17)
Boys Senior division -grades 9, 10&11 (U15/U16/U17)

The main objective of the Recreation League (CHLD) is to give the participants a chance to play soccer and have fun, while learning soccer skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. In support of this goal, there will be no team standings kept and all players should receive approximately equal playing time.
